Diangkat dari novel nukilan Suri Ryana dengan judul sama, ia mengisahkan tentang Bella, seorang pelajar di universiti Korea Selatan menghabiskan cuti semesternya di Malaysia. Hidup Bella menjadi kucar-kacir sejak insiden dia terlanggar seorang lelaki kacukan Melayu Korea bernama Danial Lee Jae Hwan. Kakak kepada Bella kemudian memaksa Bella membuat kimchi sempena menyambut kedatangan presiden syarikat tempat kakaknya. Hatinya menjadi tidak aman apabila mendapati presiden tersebut adalah Danial Lee. Keadaan menjadi semakin parah apabila keluarga mereka saling kenal dan mahu satukan mereka.
